The main task of the Consulate General is to protect the rights and interests of Russian citizens, the development of trade, economic, cultural and scientific relations between the Russian Federation and the UAE, the dissemination of information about Russia's foreign and domestic policy, passport and visa services, notaries, registration of civil status acts and other consular actions .

To apply for a visa To enter Russia at a business or private invitation, a foreign citizen should send a copy of his passport to the person who is inviting him or her, who is applying to her in Russia to the passport and visa department of the nearest regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation. A tour can only be single and valid for a stay in Russia for no more than 30 days.
To apply for a 72-hour Russian transit visa, a foreigner must present air tickets, a passport with a valid visa of the country where he is traveling, fill out a visa application form and attach a photo. Citizens of EU countries, when applying for any visas, also present health insurance valid in the Russian Federation for the entire period of stay. Of the citizens of the CIS countries, entry visas to the Russian Federation are required only for citizens of Georgia and Turkmenistan.

The Consulate General is registered birth of children citizens of the Russian Federation, who by law become citizens of Russia. Parents declare the birth of the child in writing. When registering a birth, the following are submitted to the Consulate General to draw up the record of the act:

  • legalized and translated into Russian language birth certificate issued by the medical organization in which the birth took place,

    a) certificate of marriage between parents,
    b) a joint statement of parents on the establishment of paternity, if it is established and registered simultaneously with the registration of birth,
    c) a statement from an unmarried mother, if paternity is not established.

A Russian passport is issued for a period of 5 years. To apply for a new passport, Russian citizens must submit to the Consulate General the current international passport, as well as the following set of documents:

  • personal statement of a citizen,
  • application form for the issuance of a passport (If the applicant changed his last name, first name or patronymic, it is necessary to indicate the reason, date and place. The questionnaire must also indicate the data of the internal passport, length of service for the last 10 years to the present with the exact address of the place of work The application form can be obtained at the Consulate General.),
  • 5 photos.

Registration of a new passport takes from 2 to 4 months. Children under 18 years of age and Russian citizens permanently residing in the UAE, passports are issued within 1-2 weeks.
