In the United Arab Emirates, 100 million dirhams will be allocated to foreigners as aid

The UAE Charity Fund will provide funds to help foreigners in need.

Dubai, UAE. The Beit Al Khair Society, a Dubai-based charity, provides 100 million dirhams (US $ 27.3 million) to help needy foreigners living in the UAE. The initiative will be timed to the holy month of Ramadan. The “Doing Good You Succeed” campaign will last for three months.

Within the framework of the Year of Tolerance, society is going to help thousands of needy and poor families, regardless of their nationality, which will help to improve their quality of life and level of happiness. In particular, we are talking about the distribution of grocery sets, gifts for the Eid al Fitr holiday and clothing.

It should be clarified that at present the society supports about 50 thousand families, of which 4324 families receive a monthly cash allowance, and also provides material assistance to poor students, widows, orphans and people with special needs. Last year, the fund spent 73 million dirhams (US $ 20 million).
