Special Forces of the State Security Committee of the Republic of Belarus took second place at prestigious competitions in Dubai.
The KGB special forces team took second place in the competition of special forces units UAE Swat Challenge, which took place in the United Arab Emirates.
As follows from the table published by the organizers of the competition, the first place went to the special forces of the Dubai police, the Alpha group of the KGB of Belarus lost to the winners less than a minute in terms of time and 11 points.
Third place - in the Oseola County team from Florida - the Americans lost six points to the Belarusians. Four following the results were representatives of the "Rosgvardiya".
In total, 49 teams from around the world took part in the competitions.
As part of the UAE Swat Challenge, special forces competed for five days. Among the tests are the release of hostages, ensuring the safety of officials, an obstacle course, shooting exercises and various physical activities. The competition ended the day before.
At the end of last year, group A of the KGB special forces became the first in competitions in Russia. Another Belarusian special forces - SPBT "Almaz" - there was the third.
