Dubai, UAE. The passport of citizens of the United Arab Emirates reached No. 1 in the Global Passport Power Rank 2018, which made it the strongest in the world.
UAE citizens can travel without prior visas to 167 countries of the world, which is 84% of all countries included in the rating.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE and ruler of Dubai, welcomed the achievements of the country's diplomatic missions, noting that "the world is opening its doors to UAE citizens."
It is worth noting that the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs previously set itself the task of making the state’s passport the strongest in the world by 2021, but it reached it three years earlier.
