Dubai Race World Cup Prize Rises to US $ 35 Million
Dubai, UAE. The prize pool of the most expensive horse racing World Cup, held annually in Dubai, rose from US $ 30 to US $ 35 million (129 million dirhams). A corresponding decree was issued by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
Already in March 2019, the main prize of the tournament will be US $ 12 million instead of US $ 10 million. Prize funds in the remaining races will also grow from US $ 1 million to US $ 1.83 million. Measures are aimed at further developing the UAE horse industry and attracting to the tournament of new participants from around the world.
