Dubai, UAE. The Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo, located at The Dubai Mall in Dubai, has announced a competition for all residents and guests of the emirate. Everyone is invited to come up with nicknames for two newborn Asian otters - “boy” and “girl”.
These animals are listed in the Red Book, and a program is being implemented in the aquarium aimed at restoring their population. They are threatened with extinction due to the actions of poachers and environmental pollution.
