Over 100 flights to UAE delayed due to fog

Due to fog, visibility in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah dropped to 100 m. Many flights were delayed.

Passengers are advised to check the departure status of their flights. At least 80 inbound flights to Dubai, Abu Dhabi and the Sharjah Emirate arrive on Monday with a delay, according to FlightTracker.

A number of outbound flights from Dubai and Abu Dhabi have also been delayed. According to the site, most outbound flights from Sharjah depart in accordance with the staffing table.

The National Center for Meteorology (NCM) called on motorists to exercise particular caution when driving in poor visibility.

Satellite imagery confirms fogging in most coastal and inland areas of Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman and Ras Al Khaimah.
