The mysterious Caucasian name Shazin Agrba is known to many connoisseurs of beauty in Russia and abroad thanks to its owner - an energetic, slender, black-eyed mistress of the gallery of the same name, located in an old mansion, lost in the central Moscow streets. The art collections of the masters of contemporary art are unique in their diversity, and the gallery helps them find their audience and convey to them the originality of the author and his multifaceted creative potential.
The beginning of summer was marked by the opening of an unusual exhibition of photo art in the lobby of the Dubai hotel Grand Hyatt. Here, for the first time, the Shazin Gallery presents a unique collection of the photographer Vladimir Klavikho-Telepnev, made in the ancient Aeglomez technique. She was forgotten for a long time, but today she is experiencing her rebirth. The “eglomise” technique was fashionable in the 1780-1800s: miniatures were executed on glass, which were then used to inlay furniture or in decor elements of palace interiors. Reviving the once-forgotten secrets, Vladimir organically supplemented the monochrome-captured images of his muses with a frame of gold leaf and silver. Given the specifics of the style, the images are not full of colorful paints. According to the master himself, color is the nuances of human relations, and any artist distinguishes more shades than an ordinary person, so any color changes are a collapse.
The album "Cherry Orchard", exhibited in Dubai, was created by the master of Russian photography with the desire to show his vision of Chekhov's famous work with the participation of well-recognized personalities held in various fields of art and other types of intellectual or creative activity. “Walking” through the “Cherry Orchard”, you are surprised to find yourself in the company of Renata Litvinova, Tutta Larsen, Elena Morozova ... Smooth lines, flowing fabric, black half masks, decadence and a drop of eroticism softly envelop a light sadness in retro. For completeness of sensations, only the musical design corresponding to the style is missing.
Man has always been inseparable from art and does everything possible so that this connection is not interrupted. The Shazina Gallery made its trial announcement in the UAE, which did not go unnoticed, and Vladimir Klavicho-Telepnev is already preparing his new album, “Horses,” especially for the exhibition in Dubai.
Now I would like to invite representatives of the world of politics, business and finance to a dialogue on high art. Indeed, historically, it was precisely the well-known entrepreneurs who considered it their duty to support the culture, it was they who built new temples, museums, art galleries, theaters, libraries. And if in Russia the spirit of philanthropy begins to revive again, then in the UAE the development of contemporary art is still a bit aloof from the main events and social events.
