Russian President Vladimir Putin and Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi discussed the recent breakdown of diplomatic relations between Qatar and the United Arab Emirates.
Russian President Vladimir Putin and Crown Prince Abu Dhabi Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed al-Nahyan talked in a telephone conversation about the situation in the Middle East regarding Qatar, the Kremlin said.
Both leaders called for efforts to find ways to resolve the crisis.
It is reported that the initiator of the conversation was the Emirate side.
Recall, on June 5, a number of Arab countries, including the UAE, broke off diplomatic relations with Qatar because of suspicions of state support for terrorist organizations.
