Tickets for the exclusive performance of Russian opera singer Anna Netrebko and her husband Yusif Eyvazov in Dubai went on sale.
On the stage of the Dubai Opera with a one-day performance on September 21, 2017, the star opera couple - Russian Anna Netrebko and her husband Yusif Eyvazov will appear.
The show is organized as part of a series of Opera events in collaboration with United Promoters and Idili Live and with the participation of guest star Elchina Azizova. Tickets go on sale on August 28 at a minimum price of 350 dirhams ($ 95.3)
Netrebko is a new generation opera star, the prima donna, who regularly adorns and acts as the protagonist of major productions in leading opera houses around the world. She became the first classical musician to become one of the most influential people in the Time 100 rating from Time Magazine. Earlier this year, she was named the best singer of 2017 at the International Opera Awards in London.
With her recognizable voice, soft tones, charisma and stage charm, she makes an indelible impression in each of the roles. New achievements consolidated Netrebko’s position as an undisputed diva both on the stage and beyond. The ovations after her performance in the role of Joan of Arc in La Scala lasted 11 minutes.
On stage, her husband, Azerbaijani tenor Yusif Eyvazov, will join Anna. He has performed at many world-famous opera houses, including the recent production of Placido Domingo on the stage of the Los Angeles Opera. Azerbaijani baritone Elchin Azizov, one of the main soloists of the Bolshoi Theater in Moscow, will perform with a star couple.
The program will include classical works of opera masterpieces by Verdi, Puccini, Giordano, Leoncavallo and many others.
