Violetta, when did you decide to open your own beauty salon? 
It all started with the fact that my friend and I worked in one of the beauty salons in Dubai. I am a hairdresser and stylist, my friend is a specialist in manicure and a professional masseuse. Once we walked after work and talked, and I suddenly said: “Let's dream that I have my own salon!”. To which she objected to me, they say, it is so uninteresting to dream when there is no money. And I say: “Come on, dreaming is not harmful. You don’t have to pay for it.” In general, I dreamed that my husband believed in me. I prepared a business plan, and he invested money in this enterprise. And so, we are sitting and talking in the Violetta salon, which turned one year old in August. It turns out that dreaming is not harmful at all?
It turns out that so. Violetta, what distinguishes your salon from other centers and beauty salons in Dubai?
Professionalism, I think so. For example, I studied in Europe, all the girls who work with me also have many diplomas confirming their specialization. So far, only four people work in my salon, but each of us is a specialist in his field. It is important. It’s very difficult to find real professionals today, but I don’t want anyone to come and train on my clients. I need ready-made specialists. Therefore, while we are few, but "we are in vests."
What materials do you prefer to work with, because it is well known that many customers go to a certain beauty salon for their usual brand of hair dye or nail polish?
I purchase the best and most modern products for my salon. If we talk about hair coloring and hair care products, then this is Schwartzkopf, Wella, Matrix. It is expensive, but the result of using this cosmetics speaks for itself.
What is the range of basic services at Violetta Beauty Salon?
We offer the same services as many other beauty salons - haircuts, hair styling, hair coloring, hand and foot care, nail extension and design, cosmetologist services, waxing, massages. With a few exceptions, in our salon there is a high professional level for each specialist, and at the same time, we try to keep the prices for all our services affordable, since there are times of crisis, and we are still a young salon.
What else attracts customers? We set a goal, for example, not to spoil the hair, but to treat it. Therefore, we offer various programs for the rehabilitation and restoration of hair using special tools and professional equipment that I bought and which are not in every salon. By the way, we do not do hair extensions. Having worked as a master for more than seven years, I saw many cases when women first grow their hair and then cry.
Another important point is our cosmetic services and face and body care, in which we apply the practice of acupressure, which improves blood circulation and the general condition of the body. We have a professional masseuse with a medical diploma, as well as a specialist in manicure and nail extension.
Mina is a beautician, hair removal specialist and massage therapist, Asel is a master in art design and nail extension, which means that their hands, together with professional face and body care products, can do real miracles. Since we do not have many employees, Mina also helps me with hair coloring and other hairdressing manipulations. I am the only one who owns only one specialty, all the other girls know everything. And I am a hairdresser-stylist, well, and still a good leader, as it turned out (laughs).
How do you manage to keep abreast of all the latest fashion trends or new products produced by cosmetic corporations?
We are constantly learning. When purchasing another batch of products for the salon, whether it is hair dyes or nail polishes, we go through mandatory trainings during which we learn about all the features of new products. I constantly look at specialized sites on the Internet to get acquainted with trends in the world of fashion haircuts or hairstyles. The beauty salon is called so because people come to us in order to change something in their appearance for the better, and our task is to help them with this. To do this, we ourselves must look perfect so that the client can understand from the threshold - he is where he takes business seriously. We already have many diplomas confirming our professional level. Very soon we will hang them on the wall so that everyone can see our achievements.
Do you like the location of your salon? Is this a promising area?
Yes, I like it very much. I am fond of Feng Shui techniques, so I approached the choice of location for the future salon very responsibly. And the Indigo Tower in the JLT area, and the fourth floor, and even the view from the windows - this is not a random choice. Despite the fact that the JLT area is considered a new building, they already know about us here, so there is already a regular clientele.
